South Korea Says North Korean Soldier Defects to South
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) – South Korea’s army says a North Korean soldier has fled around the nations’ closely fortified border to defect to the South.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff says South Korean squaddies escorted the defector to protection early Saturday after discovering him transferring south of the japanese aspect of the army demarcation line that bisects the Koreas.
