BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Iraqi President Barham Salih mentioned on Monday that U.S. President Donald Trump did not ask Iraq’s permission for U.S. troops stationed there to “watch Iran.”
Speaking at a discussion board in Baghdad, Salih used to be responding to a query about Trump’s feedback to CBS about how he would ask troops stationed in Iraq to “watch” Iran.
U.S. troops in Iraq are there as a part of an settlement between the 2 international locations with a particular challenge of fighting terrorism, Salih mentioned.
