Car bomb in Colombia police academy kills 5: Bogota mayor
BOGOTA (Reuters) – A automobile bomb exploded at a police academy in Colombia’s capital Bogota on Thursday, killing a minimum of 5 other folks and wounding about 10, the town’s mayor stated.
The bomb went off in the General Santander Police School in the south of the capital, Mayor Enrique Penalosa informed journalists.
Images on social media confirmed the stays of a car in flames in the parking house of the police faculty, and emergency responders on the scene.
Authorities didn’t in an instant say if the lifeless and wounded have been police or civilians.
