Baby Chanco’s viral long hair lands her Pantene ad in Japan
A Japanese child is the most recent fashion for Pantene after footage of her luscious locks went viral.
A toddler in Japan who went viral after her mom shared footage of the newborn’s strangely long hair just lately landed a modeling gig with Pantene.
Baby Chanco, a now a 1-year-old, is featured in Pantene Japan’s #HairWeGo marketing campaign that celebrates how hair “moves me forward.” The corporate mentioned a People mag article pronouncing the woman will have to have her personal Pantene ad sparked the theory.
“I’m so surprised with the reaction, but also very proud of the praise from many countries,” Chanco’s mom Mami Kano informed USA TODAY in a observation.
The mag wrote about Baby Chanco over the summer time, when the then 6-month-old had grown a thick mane that gave the impression virtually unreal in social media footage. (Pantene assures USA TODAY that her hair is actual!)
Since then, the woman has collected masses of hundreds of fans on Instagram, gushing over footage of the woman’s hair that now reaches way past her chin and is incessantly styled with bows.
Pantene launched a brief video that includes Baby Chanco’s “Hairy Tale,” that includes child footage of the woman which have been each celebrated and criticized. The video ends with a message for other folks to like their variations.
The corporate additionally featured the woman in an ad on Jan. 7 along a Japanese TV announcer who received recognition for her grey hair.
As for the way forward for that well-known head of hair, Baby Chanco’s mom tells People she plans to stay the woman’s hair long and may get started braiding it.
